All That Lives, Feasts presented by The Grief Series
Uniting Leeds and Mexico for a food and art-based celebration of those loved and lost.
A celebration of food and art.
Join acclaimed artists from Mexico’s The Faro De Oriente and Leeds’ very own Ellie Harrison for a feast and a sneak-peek at their latest collaboration.
Raise a glass of Mezcal, eat a menu that combines the best of Leeds and Mexico and see the brightly coloured sculptures the artists have created with people from across Yorkshire.
Bringing Day of the Dead colour and music to Leeds, whatever the weather, this meal is a chance to eat great food, chat to international artists and celebrate.
The feast is the culmination of a two-week residency where artists from Leeds and Mexico City have been working collaboratively with communities to remember those we have loved and lost, from heroes like David Bowie to legends like your nan. You can add to the artwork by bringing along a photo of someone you’ve lost, and there are crafting activities for those of you that want to have a go. Equally, feel free to sit back and immerse yourself in a little patch of Mexico right here in Leeds.
