We inherited our ethical attitudes from a different world; one without nuclear weapons and the means to affect the planet’s climate, but also without the ability to help people living far away. How do these attitudes fit today? What standards do we need and what changes can we make for a more ethical future?
30th April. 19:30
We have inherited our ethical attitudes from a very different world, one in which we lacked nuclear weapons and the means to affect the climate of our planet, but also one in which we lacked the ability to help people far from us. How do these outdated attitudes fit in today’s world?
If we are to bring about a more ethical future, we need to guide our lives by different ethical standards. What would these standards be, and are we going to be able to make the necessary changes?
