This year’s Unconference will cover a whole host of discussions and debates concerned with helping Leeds’ music scene thrive. A series of short talks, presentations and provocations concerning ‘A Manifesto For New Music & Leeds’ will start the proceedings, which will feature those involved in breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for musicians in Leeds such as Nathan Clark from Brudenell Social Club and Adrian Sinclair of Chapel FM.

Other topics of conversation and debate include talks about the future of music management coming from experienced music managers, how merchandise can help to create opportunity rather than just being a money maker, and talks about funding, and how you can gain grants that would help your band to break through to the next level of your career.

The Unconference is a full day event, starting at 10am on Friday 4th May and going on until the evening. Tickets are selling fast, so if you don’t want to miss out, you can grab yours here: http://bit.ly/UnconferenceLAL
