Brought to you by a host of partners, The Unconference is back once again for what is now its 8th year, as it continues to help both those working in music and those aspiring to with a series of panels, workshops, presentations and more delivered by industry experts.

This year’s Unconference will cover a whole host of discussions and debates concerned with helping Leeds’ music scene thrive. A series of short talks, presentations and provocations concerning ‘A Manifesto For New Music & Leeds’ will start the proceedings, which will feature those involved in breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for musicians in Leeds such as Nathan Clark from Brudenell Social Club and Adrian Sinclair of Chapel FM.

Other topics of conversation and debate include talks about the future of music management coming from experienced music managers, how merchandise can help to create opportunity rather than just being a money maker, and talks about funding, and how you can gain grants that would help your band to break through to the next level of your career.
