Live At Leeds announce new acts
The North’s favourite metropolitan festival is back!
On May 5th we’ll be flooding Leeds city centre (and as far as Brudenell Social Club) with music fans from near and far, coming to watch over a hundred live gigs.
We’ve got something for everybody – across genres from pop to rock to alt indie through just about everything else your ears could desire en route.
This week we added even more names to the already stellar line-up:
Ash, Sunset Sons, Dermot Kennedy, Louis Berry, High Tyde and Pulled Apart By Horses are set to play, alongside already announced headliners such as Peace, Circa Waves, The Magic Gang and The Horrors.
The Magic Gang are on everybody’s lips. This guitar band craft soaring, energetic indie anthems and are absolute magic live. These Brightoners are heavily tipped for success in 2018 – as are Manchester-based Pale Waves, whose dreamy pop is truly floaty and ethereal.
Old hands and Leeds natives Pulled Apart by Horses will be flying the home colours with adrenaline-infused garage-rock. With a decade of music behind them, expect a massive return to Live at Leeds.
Speaking of massive, 90s heroes Ash will get all the love. Expect ‘Girl from Mars’, ‘Goldfinger’ and ‘Shining Light’ – pure nostalgic gold – as well as some new exclusives.
The list doesn’t stop there. We’re renowned for showcasing stars on the rise, so keep your eyes peeled.
The Live At Leeds roster is stuffed with countless ‘ones to watch’, tipped for success in 2018 – check out Anteros, Louis Berry, Lewis Capildi, Yungblud…the list goes on and on.
