We’re delighted to announce that award-winning broadcaster Andrew Edwards will host Finding Hope in Creativity: Music is Medicine at this year’s Leeds International Festival of Ideas (LIFI25).

Andrew, a familiar voice and face across Yorkshire’s media landscape, will guide audiences through an evening exploring the transformative power of music and creativity.

The event brings together BAFTA-winning actor Vicky McClure MBE and Dr Nicky Taylor, the driving force behind Our Dementia Choir. Together, they’ll share an inspiring conversation about how creativity can spark connection, hope and healing in the most unexpected places.

The evening will also feature special performances and personal reflections from members of Our Dementia Choir, alongside a pre‑show performance from pianist Duncan Goodwin, a finalist on Channel 4’s The Piano, so we recommend getting to your seats slightly earlier.

Prepare for moving music, candid conversation, and a powerful insight into the life‑changing impact of creativity.
