Five mornings, five conversations: LIFI26 on BBC Radio Leeds
Every morning of festival week, a different LIFI26 voice has joined Dixie on the BBC Radio Leeds Breakfast show to talk about the conversation happening at Leeds Playhouse that same night. Here’s where to catch up.
The best ideas don’t stay on the stage. They make it to the school run, the commute and the kitchen radio. This year, our partnership with BBC Radio Leeds has taken each night’s conversation to listeners across the region, hours before the doors opened.
At 7.50am each day, a guest from that evening’s event joined Dixie on the radio to talk about why the subject matters and what the audience could expect. All five are on BBC Sounds. Skip to around 1 hour 50 minutes in to find each one.
Monday: Martin Dickson
Festival Director Martin Dickson came in to start the week. He talked about the build, the buzz of getting into Leeds Playhouse, and what was coming across five days of the festival.
