Dame Evelyn Glennie

Dame Evelyn Glennie is the world’s premier solo percussionist. A double GRAMMY winner and BAFTA nominee, she composes for film, theatre, and TV. She received an OBE in 1993 and has over 100 international awards. She is the founder of The Evelyn Glennie Foundation whose mission is to Teach the World to Listen. Evelyn has been profoundly deaf since childhood.
